Pegu was a Siamese cat who discovered Baba when he was staying at a lovely place called Guruprasad in Pune. Pegu had a loving family but once he met Baba, it was love at first sight. He wanted to stay with Baba and continued to run away from home to Guruprasad and to lie beside Baba's feet. Eventually the owners gave in and allowed Pegu to stay with Baba. Baba loved Pegu so much that he would be sure to feed Pegu before he had his own meal.
