Adi K. Irani
Adi K. Irani was one of Meher Baba's first mandali members, and his secretary from 1944 onward. Adi first met his Beloved Master in Ahmednagar, India in 1921 when he was just 18 years old. The rest of his life was given entirely in Avatar Meher Baba's service, and, in his capacity as Meher Baba's secretary, he corresponded widely with followers of Meher Baba all over the world. Adi also accompanied Meher Baba on many of his journeys to the West, and was a companion selected by Baba for his New Life travels. After Meher Baba dropped his body on 31st January 1969, Adi made several speaking tours to the West and throughout India. He continued to fulfill the role Meher Baba designed for him as one of his most effective and inspiring speakers, passing away in South India in March, 1980 on one of his tours there.
